The cavalier was a popular design from David Cheverton, well known for his prolific yard on the Isle of Wight. This is one of 6 boats built by the Wing on Shing Shipyard in Hong Kong, conventionally planked with Burma teak copper fastened to Ipol hardwood frames with a solid teak deck. Bukh 24hp diesel. 4 berths with 6'4" headroom throughout the main cabin. Spacious cockpit with full cockpit tent. a pretty and sound cruising boat which has been in a loving 40+ year ownership.

The design was written about extensively by Uffa Fox who heaped praise on the yacht and her designer. The 'Atalanta' was designed by Uffa Fox and the hot-moulded construction is incredibly light and strong. Her twin retractable keels give her flexibility and she will take the ground on most surfaces. She is perfect for a couple to manage, and large enough for a family. 4 berths including aft cabin + 2 cockpit berths. Perkins diesel. This is a very original example of the Atalanta, there are not too many left these days so this is a good boat to be cherished and sympathetically refitted.

Launched in 1982 she was built to the traditional lines of a Swedish Baltic Trader with traditional construction methods and materials, all to Det Norske Veritas A1A standard. Intended for charter work in the Caribbean but mainly used for day charter sailing in the Baltic. 2" Larch on oak frames with a straight laid solid deck. Ford 120hp diesel.
