The Loch Long One Design racing yacht was originally commissioned by members of the Loch Long Sailing Club of Scotland to mark the coronation of George VI (and initially called the Coronation One Design). Modified from a Norwegian design the hull has moderate overhangs and long coamings to the cockpit, a low coachroof, she is a sporty fun boat and still remains very competitive in her fleet.
This Loch Long OD, "Gaen" #39, was a fleet leader back in the 80's.
