All teak hull as usual although this boat has the major benefit of bronze strap floors rather than steel which were put in during a refit in the 1990's. One of the nicest examples of the ever popular Holman 26 that we have seen for a while. She has been in the present very experienced ownership for a while now and has been used mainly for evening and weekend racing with a bit of cruising so has been fully prepared for sailing in every way. One of the handful of genuine Vashti class sloops built, these elegant yachts are well known for being properly balanced and easy to sail. Long trademark counter stern with a stunning sheer line makes them surely one of the prettiest designs afloat. Recent deck and engine, new rigging 2014, re-painted spring 2015. This is a brilliant piece of yachting design, very seaworthy, fast and manageable with one or two people. She has a large inventory and is currently in very smart and tidy condition.

Recently came 1st in class in the Round the Island Race. New mast fitted 2018. A prototype bermudan sloop from the hand of John Bain, known more for his impressive motor yachts. Built by Silvers in 1935, the media saw this type of boat as the future of yachting, a practical, pretty and comfortable sailing yacht with a lot of volume for her length and good sailing performance. Major rebuild in present ownership including new engine, rigging and sails as well as framing and planking. A very tidy little yacht, easily capable of cross channel sailing and coastal cruising with plenty of volume for comfortable living.

One of the 40 Peter Ducks built, a great design success with similarities to the great Vertue and other Laurent Giles designs. Hull stripped of paint allows full examination and appears to be all sound. 4 berths in nice original interior. Probably needs a new engine and all the usual checks of keel bolts and sea-cocks. More of a refit than a rebuild, on her way back up and in the right hands will be back in commission without the need of highly skilled work.

Built in India in 2009 to lines inspired by the Bristol Channel Pilot Cutters. Massive construction of the hull, built entirely of Indian teak planking and frames all copper fastened with massive copper rivets. Solid teak straight laid deck screw fastened to teak deck beams. Very comfortable interior with 7 berths outside the saloon including two doubles, two separate heads compartments. Beta 90hp diesel installed new 2009.
