Built in Belgium in 1945 and finished off as a yacht in 1952. Used as a private yacht and for charter on both sides of the Atlantic she has proved to be a very fast and comfortable ship and can be managed by two people if necessary. Previous overall winner of the Tall Ships Race. Currently carries an MCA Category 2 code certificate for commercial sailing. 16 berths in 6 sleeping cabins. Major refits in 1992 and 2008. Very tidy up together ship ready to go sailing.

This is an extremely pretty and well built yacht which had a major refit in the 1990's. Pitch pine on oak, copper fastened and a teak deck. The Loch Long One Design racing yacht was originally commissioned by members of the Loch Long Sailing Club of Scotland to mark the coronation of George VI (and initially called the Coronation One Design). Modified from a Norwegian design the hull has moderate overhangs and long coamings to the cockpit, a low coachroof, she is a sporty fun boat and still remains very competitive in her fleet.
This Loch Long OD, "Gaen" #39, was a fleet leader back in the 80's.

Sold by Wooden Ships in 1983 then again in 2013 after 30 years ownership. Abandoned in the yard, mast and rig apparently missing but otherwise appears to be eminently recoverable subject to close inspection.
Potentially a nice little project for someone with some knowledge and lots of energy - and she is for nothing!

Built by Camper and Nicholson in 1960 to Lloyds 100A1 as a Class 2 racing boat. Honduras mahogany hull on Rock elm timbers. Solid teak deck new in 2003. In 111 years this boat has had only four owners. She fished until 1976, pilchard drifting and longlining out of Mevagissey, and was then sold to a Frenchman for cruising. The present professional shipwright owner bought her from him in 2005 and carried out a major rebuild and refit, since when they have cruised her extensively. New wheelhouse 2017 - see photos.
