10 of these boats were built for the class between the wars. They were raced competitively as well as being used for coastal cruising around the west coast of Scotland and the Islands. This boat had a complete refit between 1995 - 2003 and was largely rebuilt in present ownership. 2/3 berths, no engine although originally there was an inboard.

Built in Belgium in 1945 and finished off as a yacht in 1952. This is an extremely pretty and well built yacht which had a major refit in the 1990's. Pitch pine on oak, copper fastened and a teak deck. The Loch Long One Design racing yacht was originally commissioned by members of the Loch Long Sailing Club of Scotland to mark the coronation of George VI (and initially called the Coronation One Design). Modified from a Norwegian design the hull has moderate overhangs and long coamings to the cockpit, a low coachroof, she is a sporty fun boat and still remains very competitive in her fleet.
This Loch Long OD, "Gaen" #39, was a fleet leader back in the 80's.

Sold by Wooden Ships in 1983 then again in 2013 after 30 years ownership. Abandoned in the yard, mast and rig apparently missing but otherwise appears to be eminently recoverable subject to close inspection.
Potentially a nice little project for someone with some knowledge and lots of energy - and she is for nothing!
