Built in 2014 by a professional shipwright Floatsjackson from Ipswich to an American design from 1908 known as a Dark Harbour 17.5. Constructed using strip plank epoxy with a lead ballast keel. Keel stepped spruce mast with a gaff sloop rig, all new sails by One sails. A very simple yet stunning day boat in perfect new condition, complete with a new double axle road trailer for transporting. Designed by the well known Steve Dalzell and built by Mustang Yachts on the Isle of Wight in 1983. Strip plank wood epoxy construction sheathed in epoxy glass with Kevlar over the forward third of the boat for strength. Her second owner has recently completed an Atlantic cruise and she was refitted in 2012/13 to bring her up to spec for blue water cruising. 8 berths in 2 sleeping cabins + saloon. The Cheverton Crusader was drawn by David Cheverton in response to a request from a local Cowes dentist who wanted a comfortable family cruising yacht without having to purchase a large and unmanageable boat. The Crusader fitted the bill perfectly, they have 4 good length berths in the saloon and fore peak plus a separate heads compartment. The cabin offers a lot of space with ample headroom which is unusual for a boat of these dimensions. The performance was not compromised either as they are nippy little yachts and very easy to handle. This boat had a major refit in 1998 including new rigging, decks and engine.

Designed by David Alan-Williams for the present shipwright owner who built the boat for himself. The owners were looking for a comfortable, long legged and capable boat to cruise with as a couple. With an acute eye for detail and quality, there was nothing on the market that quite suited so he built his own. The construction of the hull is unlike any other cold moulded boat we have seen, she is immensely strong and well built with the capability to sail anywhere in the world. Comfortable interior with a very high quality finish to the joinery, all the usual systems and electronics, ready to cruise south this autumn.

A relatively rare Watty designed and built boat on typical west country lines. She is a spacious boat for her length and has cruised extensively in the west country and across the channel. She is seaworthy and has a good turn of speed, having been overall winner, out of 63 starters, in the 1987 Helford - L'Aberwrach race! The present owner has had her for 17yrs and has carried out a lot of work in this time.

Built by Nobles on similar lines to a Loch Fyne Skiff in 1926, she served as a fishing vessel for many years working out of ports all over the east and west coasts of Scotland. After finishing her fishing career in Ireland she was converted to a yacht and fitted with a gaff cutter rig. 8 berths with a separate aft cabin. Ford 72hp diesel engine.
