Designed and built by John Ley in Scarborough as a bigger version of the successful 26 footer. This yacht has been in the same family ownership for many years. A new Yanmar 20hp diesel was installed in 2006, and the main mast rebuilt in 2011.

West Country working boat built for the prolific fishing industry of the time, but used little for work and quickly taken on as a yacht. Planked in larch on oak frames. Very tidy IOD, another of these breath takingly beautiful keel boats. Built by Bjarne Aas in 1958, planked in mahogany, all copper fastened with a lead keel. New teak over ply deck with varnished king plank and coverboards. Yanmar 1GM engine. This design came about to develop the skills of crews and helmsmen, competing against each other under the fairest of conditions. Although still keenly raced around the world, they also make lovely coastal cruising yachts, able to take more weather than most one design yachts and with a great turn of speed.

One of four Dorus Mohr ketch yachts built, this one by Port Hamble Ltd in 1961. Planked in Pitch Pine all copper rivet fastened to heavy oak timbers. Long legged Robert Clark sloop in a similar vein to many of his earlier designs. Built in 1950 by Thronycrofts to Lloyds 100A1 and campaigned throughout the 1950's in various offshore yacht races with great success. In her current ownership she has regularly recorded upwind boat speeds in excess of 9 knots. Much work done including a strengthened mast step. The Skarpsno 19.5sqm, very similar to the Tumlare, was designed in Norway in 1925 as a one design racing class with over 150 boats being built. This particular one has had a major rebuild by her professional boat builder owner including hull repairs, new deck, new rig and new sails.
