Percy Mitchell bermudan yawl built in 1932 at Mitchells Cornish yard for the local vicar. Pitch pine planking on oak frames, laid pitch pine deck, sheathed and painted. 2 cyl Volvo diesel installed 2002. 4 berths with an open and spacious cabin with a separate heads. Maurice Griffiths Tidewater built by Whistocks of Woodbridge in 1974. Iroko hull on steam bent oak timbers, Perkins 50hp diesel, bermudan cutter rig on a deck stepped aluminium mast in a tabernacle. Griffiths was a prolific designer, drawing many small boats that made yachting available to ordinary folk. The Tidewater is one of his signature designs, spacious and comfortable with 6 berths, good sailing performance and importantly able to take the ground. This is a super little yacht in great condition, very sensibly priced and ready to go cruising this season.

New build Holman yawl, constructed in strip plank with all bronze fastenings and fixings. Superb quality yacht, with a finished hull, laid subdeck and all the teak to make the coamings, coverboards, toe rails and to lay the deck. She is at the stage now where the new owner can tailor the interior and systems to suit personal requirements, so she will be a new build boat without the wait. Strip plank construction to a very radical and modern design, built for ocean cruising and racing. Large cockpit, Nanni 42hp diesel, 6 berth accommodation with two separate cabins and 2 heads. Very spacious interior due to the exaggerated beam offers comfortable and practical living space. Very fast and powerful modern yacht capable of undertaking any extended voyage, but equally at home racing around the cans.

The first owners brief to the designer was to "build the strongest boat he possibly could". This was taken on board and along with the rest of the brief to have a fast and seakindly boat, easily handled with comfortable living accommodation and capable of being single handed if necessary. Built in 1909 with various modifications over the years. Pitch pine planking and oak frames, all bronze fastened. Modern Yanmar 4cyl diesel. 6 berths in comfortable accommodation. Current ownership of nearly 50 years has seen this fine yacht cruising the channel as well as competing successfully in classic yacht regattas.

Bermudan cutter built in France in 1936 with exquisite classic lines typical of the era. Flush deck with a sweeping sheer and long counter stern. All Burma teak planking on oak frames with a new yacht laid teak deck in 1995. Several major refits over the years to replace strap floors, deck, keel bolts, garboards, stem and stern posts, engine and some interior joinery mean she is now in superb condition. 6 berth accommodation, full inventory, absolutely ready to go cruising or compete on the classic yacht circuit.

A very nice tidy example of the late Hillyards ketch, built in 1973 for the sole purpose of a long distance ocean cruise. This later design features a hard chine and transom stern to maximize the internal volume available and make use of every inch of the boat. Bermudan ketch rig with good sails and rigging. Rebuilt Perkins 6cyl 100hp diesel giving plenty of power. 7 berths in aft cabin, saloon and forecabin, all recently refurbished. Top drawer little yacht with masses of space absolutely ready to go.

Nice tidy Hillyard from 1971. Looks to be a slightly stretched 9 tonner giving her 2' more length and a little more interior volume. Long ownership in which she has cruised to the Caribbean and back. Bermudan cutter rig with a 2005 Perkins 55hp diesel engine. 6 berth accommodation with an aft cabin saloon berths and a fore cabin gives the usual Hillyard benefits of split accommodation with separate sleeping cabins, very unusual in any other design of this length.

Charles Nicholson bermudan sloop, built by C&N in 1939 of mahogany on oak. A substantial large volume yacht for her length, she has been meticulously maintained in the present 25 year ownership including re-fastening and keel bolts. Single cylinder Yanmar diesel, four berths with double forecabin. Very manageable low aspect masthead sloop rig, changed from her original fractional setup. This is a very well presented and tidy little yacht in nice condition with lots of volume and a superb cockpit. SADLY, MUST SELL DUE TO ILL HEALTH.
