Built in Hong Kong in 1981 to a William Atkin design. Traditional design inspired by Colin Archer with a canoe stern, long keel and heavy displacement. The beam on this boat is very generous making her very stable and giving a large internal volume. She was sailed to the UK in 2005 and has been in the present ownership for over 12 years. She appears to be in sound and solid condition, built with teak planking and tropical hardwood frames, floors and keel. 3 double berths plus heads and galley and 6' headroom. Yanmar 32hp diesel. A great boat for long distance cruising on a budget, she is a very capable and substantial boat, easily handled but with plenty of berths.

Gaff cutter built by Hayles of Cowes in 1898 as a gentlemans yacht on the lines of the Itchen Ferry work boats. Built by the IBTC, Lowestoft in 1985 for a then student of the college. Bought by the present owner very soon after her launch and kept on the south coast ever since. A well built and very capable short handed sailing yacht, the pedigree of the Wanderer design needs no introduction. Built in 1913 on the Wirral, she was found by the current owner in a poor state and given to David Moss Boatbuilders at Fleetwood for a complete rebuild. This work commenced in 2005 and involved a complete rebuild including new keel, floors, planking, many frames, a new deck structure and a complete new rig to the original gaff cutter design. Finished off to a very high standard and maintained properly since completeion of the rebuild. 3 berths with sitting headroom and Baby Blake sea toilet. Small galley with an Origo spirit stove. A very pretty yacht with good pedigree and in superb condition. 2019 survey available.

Planked in iroko on CRE frames with a sheathed plywood deck. Shallow draft at 4'3" allowing access to many areas. Large aft cabin with a double berth, sheltered cockpit, spacious saloon and forward sleeping cabin, 7 berths in total. 2006 Volvo Penta 55hp diesel. Comfortable, safe and easy to handle cruising yacht with lots of volume.

Designed and built by Abeking and Rasmussen in 1937 to the 30sqm rule, she was one of the Windfall yachts seized by British forces after Word War Two. Given a major refit in 2009 with a resigned and IRC optimised rig, new systems and machinery and major hull repairs, she is a very elegant, fast and fun to sail yacht in superb condition. The Viking class was designed as a fast and capable shallow draft cruising yacht and typical of Buchanan's designs she fits the bill perfectly. Superb deep safe cockpit plus a very comfortable saloon with 5 berths and standing headroom. The entire rig including spars, standing and running rigging and sails were all replaced in 2014, engine installed in 2011 as a totally rebuilt and as new unit. This is a very capable yacht, kitted out this season to compete in the AZAB offshore race but equally at home coastal cruising with the family. Why buy a big boat when a 31' yacht will do the same job?
