Golden Vanity is a famous yacht, built for the artist Arthur Briscoe in 1908, she has worked as a youth sail training vessel for many years, teaching many adults and children alike the joys of sailing a traditional vessel. Now in need of a new owner, she was surveyed in December 2019 to ascertain her condition. Under MCA commercial licence until recently, requires work to reinstate that certification. 9 single berths in cavernous interior, Beta 75hp diesel. A very well known and desirable yacht that deserves the time and effort to refit her.

A great example of one of our commercial-ready sailing boats. This Brixham sailing trawler built in 1892 and worked until the early 1970's until being converted for charter and sail training. Currently coded under MCA Cat 2 for 12 guests plus crew, she is a well known and much loved traditional charter vessel. Totally re-framed and re-fastened in 2001, new deck, deck beams and bulwarks in 2011. Daewoo 160hp diesel. Working sails new in 2017. A very comfortable and well equipped vessel, capable of going to work next season. She was ashore in May 2021 and had a structural hull survey carried out. The result of this survey was that 9 planks were replaced along with some repairs around the stern and new caulking where necessary. This work has been well documented and stands Leader in good stead for the coming years.

Brixham Trawler Yacht
£SOLD
Charmian was built by Uphams in Brixham on the lines of a Brixham Sailing Trawler but launched as a yacht for a wealthy owner. The interior fit out was completed by Camper and Nicholson to a very high standard. Unfortunately after several years trying to get the rebuild finished, the current owner has reached a stage where she needs to be sold as soon as possible. She has a recent Beta 150hp engine so she is mobile under her own steam. There is a lot of deck furniture, hatches, all stanchions and parts of the rig with the boat so she is a lot more than just a bare hull. Absolutely gorgeous yacht with huge potential that deserves to be refitted and taken back to sea.

Golant Gaffer launched in 2006 after an 8 year build. Finished to a high standard with several minor alterations, approved by the designer, that make her stand apart from other Golant gaffers. Slightly raised coachroof gives extra interior space and changes to the rig, including carbon fibre gaff yard and bowsprit, mean that her performance is improved over the standard design.
