Well known as very comfortable boats with huge volume, easily handled with the split rig and ideal for a couple to cruise in comfort. In present ownership since 2004, thoroughly maintained with keel bolts checked, recent survey and used every summer on extended cruises around the UK and France. Vertue No.6 built by Harry Kimber in 1939 to the original design with a low coachroof and lower topsides than the more well known Vertue of later years. Major rebuild in the last year including complete new bottom end and thorough cosmetic refit. The last remaining Windermere 19 of only 6 built originally. Built on Lake Windermere in 1928, she raced until 1934 when the class was abandoned. Sold by Wooden Ships to the present owner in 2005, she had a major rebuild which included lots of structural work to the hull, a new deck and complete new rig. Now rigged as a bermudan sloop on Collars spruce spars. Outboard engine on a side bracket when required. A beautiful looking boat with superb performance in very nice condition. Complete with a road trailer and all over cover.

Launched as a Baltimore Class Lifeboat in 1921, she served in Wick and then Amble until 1952 in which time she saved 98 lives. Bought by the present owner in 1965, converted to her present arrangement in a major refit completed in 1970. She has a very large and safe cockpit with a gaff ketch rig, Perkins 100hp diesel giving 10 knots and a comfortable interior with 7 berths including a separate double owners cabin. A very unusual boat and although not fast, she is a very safe, reliable and stable platform with masses of space on deck and down below. Reduced for a quick sale due to health problems.

The Finesse 21 was another popular shallow draft cruising boat for A.F. Platt on the east coast. His boats were designed to have a large internal volume for their length, shallow draft with a centreplate for creek crawling and a large comfortable cockpit. This boat has been well looked after in the present ownership with a lot of work done in 2014, sadly she is now an executor sale and needs some attention to paint and varnish due to a year of neglect.
