Sally II sailing well this summer in Scotland. She is Vertue No.2 built in 1937, one of the special few early Vertues with lower freeboard and a smaller coachroof. The Vertue has gained a phenomenal reputation after many impressive voyages, these little 25’ boats punch well above their weight in terms of capability and sea keeping qualities. A Francois Vivier Aber built by Traditional Sail of Salcombe, one of a small number of highly sought after Abers built by this yard in the 1990’s that very rarely come up for sale. This one is still with her original owners and has been dry stored much of her life so is in very nice condition. Known as very fast dinghies with their large lug sail these boats have exquisite lines and she captivates people wherever she goes.
