One of the last wooden boats built by Hillyards of Littlehampton, this 13 ton sloop is considered by many in Hillyard circles as one of the finest maintained examples afloat. the 13 tonner refers to her Thames Tonnage, a measure of interior volume, and is a stretched version of the more common 12 tonner. She offers 6 berths including 2 doubles in an aft cabin, saloon and forward cabin with 2 heads compartments and a shower. Excellent headroom of 1.95m in the saloon. The centre cockpit is sheltered by a sprayhood and connected aft canopy which can make the cockpit entirely enclosed and weather proof providing an extra dry living space when aboard. When sailing the whole canvas cockpit cover can be lowered which opens the cockpit to the elements. A lovely yacht which has had only 2 owners in all her years, she has been carefully maintained and upgraded by the present owners. Gaff ketch built in St Ives in 1920 as a fishing drifter, working out of St Ives until 1934. Later she had a rich and varied career with the military during WWII, first of all carrying out spying missions along the Baltic coast of Germany and then taking part in Operation Dynamo giving her the coveted status as a Dunkirk Little Ship. She carries numerous mementos of her war service years aboard giving a tangible and humbling link to her incredible history. Rebuilt from the keel up in current ownership, this work was completed in 2022. Surveyors and a naval architect were involved in the whole process and there is a full record of what work was done including all technical drawings. The result is a very comfortable and spacious traditional cruising vessel with all modern systems and comforts. She has been cruised extensively, much of it single or short handed and has been maintained professionally since the completion of her rebuild. A remarkable boat with an unrivalled history in superb condition, there is very little afloat that compares to this magnificent yacht.

A superb example of the well respected Z4 class. She went through a comprehensive refit in 2023, and since then the present owner has had further work carried out. The last yacht designed and built by Alfred Mylne Senior, Trefoil of Kames is a yacht with legendary status on the west coast of Scotland. Built for Mrs Jean Wilson, the fascinating voyages carried out by this intrepid lady involved her charting every nook and cranny of the west coast, mostly single handed, with this information used in the fledgling Clyde Cruising Club Directions. The present owner first saw the boat as a 5 year old boy, and after a rigorous interview with Mrs Wilson bought the boat in 2004. Several winters of major refit followed and the boat has been sailing every season around Scotland in much the same way as she always has, albeit with a few more modern systems and comforts. A very special yacht with a fascinating history and reputation as a very capable sailing yacht.

Laurent Giles Vertue built in 1951 for the Festival of Britain and exhibited there as an example of British craftsmanship. Only 3 owners since new and has always been well maintained. Built in Holland for the retiring captain of the Dutch Royal Yacht, she was a no expense spared build funded by the Dutch royal family. It is said that Queen Wilhelmina and Queen Beatrix both learnt to sail in this yacht. She is a stretched example of the Englyn design, slightly bigger in all dimensions. Continually upgraded and well maintained, this is a fine yacht planked in top quality teak with a stunning and comfortable interior. Well equipped and in commission, a very special pedigree yacht.

A superb gaff cutter design from the board of Ed Burnett, sister ship to the well known Zinnia she was built by MB Yachts of Dorset in 2001. The third boat built to this now legendary design, she was completed to the very high standards expected of MB Yachts and is a wonderful blend of traditional design with modern materials. With lines clearly inspired by the traditional working boats, Burnett has created a wonderful yacht with capability and performance beyond that of her moderate 30' length on deck. The generous beam and construction methods create a spacious interior with 4 good berths and a headroom of over 6'1. The rig, carefully upgraded by her diligent owners, gives excellent performance proven by her regular successes in modern and classic regatta events. A remarkable yacht with Burnetts trademark sweet lines, superb performance and an extensive recent maintenance list.

Built to an American design by two Swedish brothers and sailed by them to the West Indies and back in the early 1960's. Bought by the present owner in 2002, she has been through several major periods of refit including all new laminated oak frames, a new interior including all systems, new teak deck in 2023 and new rigging in 2026. An unusual boat here in the UK with her very shallow draft at only 3' with the centreboard up. This allows access to areas most 40' yachts cannot go, including the European canals and makes her a very versatile and attractive design. Her rig is also unusual with a 'mule sail' on a roller between main and mizzen masts. The rig is perfectly set up for single handed sailing with roller headsails and a boomed staysail. A very fine yacht in superb condition that has been professionally maintained without concern for cost. 2026 survey available.
