Built in Denmark in 1934 as a fishing vessel, she worked in Denmark and the UK until sold to present shipwright owners in 1996. Converted to her current configuration between 1996-2000 with an elegant topsail schooner rig and comfortable interior giving 8 berths with excellent headroom. Gardner 6LXB 120hp diesel gives economical cruising. The boat holds an MCA Category 2 commercial licence for 12 persons and will be sold complete with all the safety gear and other equipment associated with the commercial licence. The boat has appeared at numerous traditional boat festivals around the UK and can command significant appearance fees due to the visual impact of the schooner rig. She has also served as a great family cruising boat over the last 25 years and due to her size is easily handled by a very small crew. A simply magnificent little ship with incredibly elegant lines in ready to go condition.

The second Vertue ever built, Sally II was launched in 1937 by Elkins who went on to become a prolific builder of Vertue yachts. Planked in pitch pine with bronze strap floors, lead keel and bronze keel bolts, all first class materials. Shipwright owned for 30 years she has a good 2019 survey and has been a reliable and safe cruising boat on the Scottish west coast for her owner. The Vertue is an iconic design from the 20th century, perhaps the most successful small cruising boat ever and this is one of the special and sought after early examples of which only 8 were built.

Ferro cement gaff schooner professionally built by 'Mick the Brick' of Gweek, Cornwall in 1989. Not rigged and sailed until 2000. Since then she has circumnavigated the globe with a family crew, and more recently between 2020-2022 went on an Atlantic circuit voyage. Well proven as a comfortable live aboard cruising yacht, very capable, sea worthy and safe. Very elegant hull lines clearly inspired by the larger pilot cutters and with the same excellent sailing qualities. 8 berths in a spacious interior. A boat which attracts followers wherever she goes on the planet, with many stories to tell already, now looking for her next owners to continue the voyaging.

Designed by Knud Reimers, this large version of the Tumlare was given wide notoriety after yachting author Adlard Coles wrote about the virtues his own Stor Tumlaren COHOE I in his book 'Heavy Weather Sailing'. This yacht was built in Fareham with all Honduras mahogany planking, lead keel and bronze keel bolts. A superb classic yacht with great pedigree, an ideal easily handled classic regatta boat or a cruising yacht for a couple. Would benefit from some upgrading of systems and standing rigging will likely need replacing for insurance. Sensibly priced, sale required this season. 2023 survey available.

Designed by Irishman G. O'Brian Kennedy, the hull was built by Harold Kimber in 1964. The build then stopped and she was eventually completed and commissioned by Tideway Marine of Salcombe in 1980. Major rebuild in 2015 with a complete new deck structure, keel off, engine overhauled, new rigging, sails, systems and more. Since then she has taken part in classic regatta events and been cruised, much of it single handed, around the Med, out to the Azores and around the UK and Channel coasts. A striking looking yacht with a detailed recent refit history, very strongly built and capable of long distance ocean sailing. Her ketch rig makes her easily handled by one or two people, the perfect boat for an adventuring couple perhaps.

One of the few remaining original Bristol Channel Pilot Cutters, built by Rowles of Pill in 1893 for pilot Frank Trott. A very successful pilot vessel and several times winner of the annual pilot cutter regatta. The first cutter fitted with the now famous Appledore roller reefing system, she still has her original reefing gear as fitted in the early 1900's. Total rebuild in the 1990's, new keel in 2003 and new mast in 2018. 8 berths including 2 double cabins. Cruised back and forth across the Atlantic, partaking in Antigua Classic Regatta. A fine vessel, spacious below decks with a homely interior and large comfortable cockpit.

Laurent Giles Vertue V131 built by Robertsons of Woodbridge in 1965. In her early years she was sailed to South Africa via the Suez Canal and battered by severe storms in the Indian Ocean. Converted to a masthead sloop rig with alloy mast and boom while in South Africa, she was brought back to the UK in 1993. 4 berths plus heads and galley. Roller furling and self tailing winches.

One of the 11 boats built to this design by Peter Brett, the creator of the Rival range of yachts. The Dee 25 proved herself as very capable yacht with some notable performances in offshore yacht races in the 1960's, including the infamous 1965 Channel race that was hampered by severe weather. Several major periods of refit in recent years, all well documented. 5 berths with 6'2" headroom. Recently rot has been found in several topside planks and deck edge as well as the beamshelf on the starboard side. After many years of ownership the owner has decided he does not have the capability to take on this work and is selling the boat as a project for a nominal £1000. Currently ashore in a dry shed, she can easily be worked on in situ by a new owner, or moved by road to a new location.

Peter Brett Dee 27 built in 1961. The name Dee 27 relates to her waterline length not overall length. The larger sister to the well proven Dee 25, Peter Brett later took these designs and developed them into the Rival range of yachts. A well maintained yacht in her current 15 year ownership, she has been cruised extensively around Ireland and Scotland proving to be a very good sea boat and easily handled. 5 berths, Volvo MD2030 engine.
