Lovisa was built by 2 Swedish brothers to an American design and launched in 1956. Over the next few years they sailed the boat through the European canals, across the Atlantic to the West Indies and arrived back in Falmouth in 1959. The American roots of this yacht are evident with her generous beam and clipper type bow. being a centreboard design, she only draws 3' with the plate up meaning she can creep into shallow areas otherwise off limits to most boats of this size. Rig set up for short handed sailing with roller furlers, boomed staysail and stack packs on main and mizzen booms. Aft cabin with a large double and a double cabin in the bows gives 6 berths in total. New teak deck finished in 2025. New rigging 2026. A really eye catching yacht in cracking condition. Sensibly priced as the long time owner would like to move her on before the end of the summer. Lying in Falmouth, Cornwall and priced at £60,000.woodenships.co.uk/sailing-yacht/40-bermudan-centreboard-ketch/... See MoreSee Less
