Wooden Ships Comments on this Fairlie Yacht Slip Motor Yacht

Designed by Archibald MacMillan and built by the Fairlie Yacht Slip Ltd in 1968.

An elegant and robust twin engine motor yacht built for comfortable cruising.  Heavily built hull in mahogany with an aluminium superstructure and twin Gardner 6LX 127hp diesel engines.  She has a good cruising speed of 8 knots.

Her commissioning owner was a tall gentleman so he requested extra headroom throughout, meaning most of the interior has 7’ headroom with full standing height in the engine room as well.

Large aft deck with a sun awning is perfect for cruising in warmer climates.  She has a full heating and air conditioning system throughout with 4 sleeping cabins and 4 heads compartments plus a large and open deck saloon.

She has been based in Turkey for many years and in the present ownership since 1985, used for private cruising around the Aegean in Turkey and Greece.
