Wooden Ships Comments on this Morgan Giles teak launch
This Morgan Giles designed teak launch was probably originally built as a gentleman’s launch and she has an interesting history. She is reputed to have been used as a port supply vessel in Falmouth during World War 2, and was then bought by the Thompson family in the Scilly Isles and used as an inter-island passenger ferry for 50 odd years until 2005.
