SOLD

Designed by John Bain and built by Seaborne Marine in 1968. New twin Beta Marine 43hp diesels fitted in 2005 with only 200hrs running. New teak on plywood deck fitted around 2009. 5 berths in 2 sleeping cabins with comfortable saloon and wheelhouse. Current ownership for over 20 years. Cosmetic maintenance has been neglected in last couple of years so she is starting to look a bit untidy but is otherwise fairly sound. Appreciative new owner more important than achieving a top sale price hence the very sensible asking price.

MFV project

£5000

Large MFV built by Herd and Mackenzie in 1960 as a Seine Netter. Converted at some stage in the past with the idea of doing charter work. Recently abandoned and seized by the harbour authority, she is now being offered for sale on the understanding she is removed as soon as possible. Gardner 8LXB diesel recently submerged and now seized. This is a large scale project that is not for the faint hearted or inexperienced, she will require considerable investment of time and money to get her seaworthy once again, but there are very few of these larger MFV's left so is a good project for someone looking for this kind of boat.
