Wooden Ships Comments on this BB17 Dayboat

BB17 designed by Borg Bringsvaerd and built in Oslo in 1962.

In commission every year since 2010, except for 2020, and refitted as necessary.  Decks replaced in 2010 along with new standing rigging in 2018.

Brand new road trailer in 2021.

The BB17 is a Norwegian design and a larger sister to the very sweet looking BB11.  The BB17 was a welcome upgrade, offering a larger cockpit and enough interior space for a couple of berths and some shelter making her ideal for weekend sailing.

They offer simple and enjoyable sailing with enough capability to undertake coastal passages.
