Built by Dickies of Tarbert in 1920 to a design by Peter Dickie.
Built as a private yacht, she has sailed with a number of owners between Europe and the Caribbean and throughout the Med where she spent some years working as a charter boat. Bought by the present owner in 2002, since when she has had a major update and refit including a new engine, new rigging and sails, a complete new deck and updating of her systems.
The boat has a well documented history including a number of original log books from the 1920′ complete with water colour paintings.
A very elegant boat with flush teak decks and low skylights so as not to intrude on the looks of the yacht. Interesting interior layout with 2 entrance hatches, this allows for 2 good size sleeping cabins towards the aft and a large saloon just forward of midships, giving 7 berths in total. A true classic yacht with bags of pedigree, stunning looks and in very nice condition

Construction
Planked in Pitch Pine on heavy sawn oak frames with 3 steamed oak intermediate timbers.
Copper rivet fastened in the timbers and copper nail fastened into the sawn frames.
External lead ballast keel with bronze keel bolts last checked in 2011.
Iron strap floors.
Yacht laid teak deck over a plywood subdeck with a varnished teak king plank. Varnished teak coverboards with a low bulwark on stanchions and varnished capping rail.
Whole deck structure was professionally replaced in 2008
Attractive flush decks with varnished teak skylights and entrance hatch.
Self draining cockpit with seating at deck level and varnished teak coamings for protection.
Rig
Gaff ketch rig on keel stepped solid varnished masts.
Varnished slab reefing booms and solid wooden gaff yards and varnished bowsprit.
Stainless steel standing rigging, new in 2004, to bronze rigging screws and internal stainless steel chain plates.
Hanked on boomed staysail with jib on Wyckham Martin furling gear.
Main and mizzen 2005, jib 2015 and staysail 2016.
Machinery
Perkins Sabre M65 67hp 4cyl marine diesel installed new in 2004.
Hydraulic drive off the engine to an offset fixed 3 blade bronze propeller gives 6 knots cruising speed.
40 gallon copper fuel tank under the aft side deck
4 separate flexible water tanks under the galley and saloon sole.
3 x 12 volt batteries, one for engine, one for domestics and one for the windlass. Charged through engine alternator with a Sterling smart regulator
Accommodation
7 berth in total with lots of original varnished teak joinery
Steps down from the cockpit through the aft companion hatch into the aft cabin.
Large single berth either side with a central chart desk with cupboards and drawers below.
Port side passageway into another sleeping cabin with a single berth either side and the engine box centrally located.
Port side sliding door into the galley, also accessed via steps through the forward companion hatch.
Galley to port and heads compartment to starboard.
Galley has a 2 burner gas stove with oven and grill and a single stainless sink with pressurised hot and cold water. Ample storage behind the galley surface under the deck head.
Heads compartment to starboard with a Jabsco manual sea toilet and hand basin.
Central sliding door going forward into the main saloon. Dinette seating to port that converts to a double berth with a skylight above and a long settee berth to starboard. Ample shelf and storage space around the saloon. Peawee solid fuel cabin stove.
Centreline sliding door into the fore cabin, mainly used for stowage but originally comprised a crew cabin for the two paid hands and the galley. Potential to convert into another cabin if desired.
