A very smart example of a Folkboat which has been meticulously maintained in present ownership. The Folkboat is a superb design, extremely capable for its size and very fast. This boat has the very pretty and desirable low coachroof with oval portholes.
There is a virtually new road trailer available at extra cost if desired.
Construction
Planked in varnished mahogany all copper fastened to oak frames.
Grown oak floors
1 ton iron ballast keel with galvanised keel bolts.
Flexi-teak on sheathed ply deck.
Teak non self draining cockpit. Tiller steering.
Mahogany varnished coachroof coamings with sheathed, painted ply coachroof deck.
Rig
Fractional bernudan sloop rig on a deck stepped alloy mast. Roller reefing alloy boom. Alloy spinnaker pole.
Stainless steel standing rigging to internal bronze chain plates.
Self tailing cockpit winches x 2.
Mainsail, genoa and jib in good condition.
Machinery
Mercury Sail power 5hp, 4 stroke outboard. New 2014.
1 x 12v battery.
Bilge pumps: 1 manual, 1 electric.
Accommodation
4 berths. 2 burner and grill gas cooker. Blake heads in forecabin. 25 litre water tank.
