Wooden Ships Comments on this Heard Tosher 20
The first Tosher 20 built by Terry and Martin Heard, launched in 1988 and exhibited at the Douarnenez classic boat festival of that year in Brittany.
The yard went on to build many of these 20’ Toshers, proving to be a popular size of boat and very versatile.
In later life, a small coachroof was added to this boat giving 2 berths up forward and somewhere dry to sit out of the weather when required. The boat has been raced in the Falmouth area very successfully, proving herself as a family boat and a good racing boat. New mast and rigging in 2017.
The cockpit is very deep giving a real sense of security, perfect for keeping the kids inside and safe while sailing
