Wooden Ships Comments on this Hillyard 9 ton sloop

ALL SENSIBLE OFFERS CONSIDERED.  Owner has emigrated and needs to sell as quickly as possible

The 9 ton Hillyard was one of David Hillyards most popular designs as they were ideal for family cruising, big enough to be comfortable but still manageable and easy to look after.

This particlular example was bought by a young shipwright who undertook a lengthy refit including a lot of work to the deck and hull, before making her his home and cruising the UK, unfortunately a change of circumstances means she must now be sold.

We can provide a full and detailed list of all the work which was carried out between 2014 – 2015 which included completely stripping the hull and re-caulking the whole boat and making repairs to the coachroof and deck furniture.

This is a tidy and well presented yacht, a nice example of the type and ready to be sailed away.  The owner was recently offered a job in Australia so has emigrated leaving the boat in our care, therefore he would like to sell her this spring and has reduced the price accordingly.  Recent survey available.
