Wooden Ships Comments on this Scandinavian Folkboat

Built by Borresen of Denmark in 1968 to the classic Folkboat lines put together by Tord Sunden.  Sail No. F453.

She is a genuine Scandinavian built Nordic Folkboat, the original and best of the Folkboats with very nice pedigree.  The sailing characteristics and performance of these boats is legendary, in many ways they are the perfect boat!

Built for a UK owner in Torbay, she spent many years gaining a fearsome reputation in various regattas around the South west and in the Solent.

Professional refit in 2017/2018 included new keel bolts, new deck sheathing, cracked frame repairs and all external cosmetics.  Brand new Collars mast and stainless steel standing rigging in 2018 plus good sails from North Sails.

She comes with an aluminium Harbeck road trailer and a full inventory of equipment so is absolutely ready to go.

2017 survey available.
