Wooden Ships Comment on this Scarborough One Design Bermudan Sloop

This boat has been in the present ownership (a professional shipwright) for 25 years and for 10 years between 1990 – 2000 she was being rebuilt.  Only the keel and some of the planking are original with everything else being replaced.  The yacht was surveyed in ’95. ’97 and 2000 documenting the rebuild,  which was obviously carried out to a high standard.

She is a slightly modified version of John Ley’s design having slightly smaller dimensions.

Since 2010 the yacht has been lightly used until the 2017 season when the owner used her extensively for cruising.  She is fully maintained and in tidy condition with only cosmetics needing attention.  A new owner would take ownership of what is largely only a 15 year old boat.
