Vintage Gaff cutter, built by Fields of Itchen Ferry in 1898 to a design by J.S. Herlyer.

Major rebuild at Trouts of Topsham between 1991 and 1997.

Lots of new planking, new floors, heavier frames and new deck.

Rig

Gaff cutter rig on keel stepped solid mast.  New mainsail during rebuild.  Rig complete.

 

Machinery

Yanmar 1GM10 inboard diesel engine.

 

Interesting period yacht in need of some attention.
