Gaff ketch rig with Clipper Canvas sails, DAF 120hp diesel. 8 berths with a double aft cabin, large saloon with wood burner. A totally unique ship in as new condition built to a very high standard using top quality materials. Built by one man over 15 years, sadly he is now too old to use her as he had planned. Built as a motor fishing vessel in Germany in 1943, she worked in the Baltic and North Sea until being converted in Holland in the 1980's. She worked for many years as a charter vessel around Dutch waters before going into private ownership and sailing to the UK. She could be an extremely comfortable live aboard yacht with her vast interior volume, but would also make an excellent expedition vessel to explore remote areas. She is very heavily built and capable of exploring the worlds oceans in comfort and safety.

Built in New York in 1934 to a design from Starling Burgess, a highly acclaimed engineer and naval architect. The design was heralded by Uffa Fox in the yachting press of the time. Her first owner wanted a seaworthy boat, easily handled by two and a fast passage maker. She was relaunched in 2015 after a total professional rebuild including a lot of planking and structural timber, new interior, engine, systems and rig. She has been cruised to the south coast and Orkney since completion and attracts attention wherever she goes. A very beautiful classic yacht in superb condition.
