Designed by the Kaisers personal naval architect Max Oertz, the creator of some of the most well known big class yachts of the 20th century. An unusual design at the time, she has captivating lines and also proved to be a fast boat. This remains true to the present day and she is a competitive and exciting boat for classic yacht regattas. Updated and well maintained in the present ownership, she had a new engine in 2007, new keel, keel bolts and lower planking in 2013, a complete new teak deck in 2019 and new sails in 2016 to list some of the refit items. Built in 1918 as a Baltic Sea fishing vessel, the boat was bought by the present owners and professionally converted to yacht in 1995. They gave her a graceful gaff ketch rig with a healthy 120sqm of sail which pushes her along well. 9 berths in a separate aft cabin, saloon and forward cabin with full headroom throughout. 155hp Volvo Penta diesel. At 49' she is a manageable yacht, easily sailed by two people. A very stable and safe ship at sea even in very rough weather, she is a beautiful example of the elegant Danish fishing boats.

Major refit in 2021 by current owner including new mast, boom, rigging and sails plus a major overhaul of the engine and complete cosmetic refit. Designed by Olin Stephens as a fast cruiser racer for the European market and originally planned for mass production in GRP. This wooden version was produced and finished by H.C. Wright in 1979 under the personal eye of Olin Stephens who came to the UK to inspect and advise on the build. Diagonal cold moulded mahogany hull, teak on ply deck new in 2008. Fin ballast keel with skeg hung rudder. Volvo Penta 30hp diesel with a sail drive. Very spacious interior due to the beam and depth in hold. A beautiful boat in lovely condition with lots of brand new gear, 2021 survey, recently launched and ready to sail.
