The Malabar class is a design well known for superb elegant lines, good sailing performance and a lot of volume for her modest length. All teak hull, varnished from new. Jolina sloop designed by Charles Nicholson and built by Clare Lallows of Cowes in 1961 to Lloyds 100A1. elegant cruiser racer that has been maintained to a very high standard with a long list of recent refit work. Perhaps one of the best examples of the class, she was obviously built to a higher standard than most of the Jolinas and this original build quality shows clearly in the finish and feel of the boat today. 5 single berths in a beautifully finished interior. Recent sails from Elvstrom, new keel bolts, floor bolts and much other work. she won the Concours d'Elegance at the 2022 Hamble Classics. A very elegant pre-war yacht with a sweeping sheer, flush laid decks and a narrow elegant coachroof. Major refit in 2018 including all new stainless steel strap floors and a new interior. Recent sails and rigging. Pitch pine hull with lead keel and bronze keel bolts. A beautiful looking yacht in regular use. on the National Historic Ships Register and comes with a complete history of her ownership including all documentation. 2021 insurance survey available. 31' gaff cutter designed and built by A.M. Dickie of Tarbert in 1898 for the Laird of the Isle of Gigha, Scotland as a personal ferry yacht to access the island from the mainland. In the same family ownership since 1965, she has in recent years been maintained professionally, wintered undercover every year and sailed extensively each summer. An active vessel in the Old Gaffers fleet, she took part in the OGA Round Britain voyage and has cruised extensively around the east coast and over to Holland. 4 berths with good headroom and a lot of space for her length.
