8ton Hillyard that has been in the same family ownership since her launch in 1967, now sadly for sale due to health problems. Well maintained boat with 6' headroom, 4 berths, heads and galley. History of refit work including new keel bolts and engine overhaul, plus new sails in 2018. A sweet shallow draft yacht presented very nicely.

Built in 1971 in Porthleven, she underwent an 11 year rebuild through the 1980's and 90's, then a further thorough refit in 2021 by the present owner. A delightful looking Tosher with a large open cockpit and powerful gaff cutter rig that gets her moving very well. Beta Marine diesel with low hours. Full all over boat cover as new.

37' Hillyard built to his 12 ton design with usual Hillyard layout of centre cockpit, aft cabin, saloon and forward cabin. The 12 ton hillyard is less common than the 9 ton version but offers quite a lot more space and comfort without excessive extra length. 6 good berths split between 3 cabins makes for very comfortable cruising with an aft owners cabin, large saloon and separate fore cabin. This boat has had a lot of work and upgrades done in the present ownership but is currently looking a bit scruffy and has a few areas of wood work needing attention. Engine rebuilt 2022, new rigging and sails in recent years, completely re-wired plus many other upgrades. A fine comfortable cruising yacht offered at sensible money.

Laurent Giles Peter Duck that had a years refit in 2017/2018 after a survey revealed some issues in the deck. Now a good solid example, used for coastal cruising around the Solent and south coast. Very comfortable and easily handled cruising boat with excellent headroom and 4 good berths including a double forward. Vovlvo Penta 2030 20hp diesel engine installed new in 2010. A very safe, spacious and easy to sail family cruising boat.

Believed to be a Mevagissey Tosher but her exact history is unknown. possibly built around 1900 as a local working boat. Hull professionally rebuilt in 2007 by previous owners. New gaff cutter rig designed by Ed Burnett installed on the boat in 2021, Yanmar 2GM diesel engine. Deep safe boat with coamings at around waist level.

Gaff cutter designed and built by the current owners father, launched in 1953. Used for family cruising around the Bristol Channel, her enclosed cockpit makes a sheltered space. 4 good berths with standing headroom around the galley. Yanmar 2GM diesel had an overhaul in 2022. Interesting boat with good interior volume and a nice history.

28' gaff cutter built by Cornish Shipwright Chris Rees for his own use. built using plywood with a hard chine and sheathed externally for a rigid and robust hull. Sailed by Rees across the Atlantic and up to Greenland proving herself as a capable boat. Recent refit by current owner, the work is nearly complete, however she needs sails and the rig finishing off. A very capable blue water boat for someone looking to set off on a budget.

Iain Oughtred Grey Seal design, professionally built and launched in 1997. Traditionally built clinker hull with larch planking on oak frames. Shallow draft with a centreboard and beaching legs enabling her to access shallow areas. Sitting on a recently serviced Snipe road trailer, total towing weight of approximately 2.5 tons. The Grey Seal is said to be the only Oughtred boat truly designed for open water sailing, and this boat has cruised extensively around the remote areas of north west Scotland. A rare and rather special little boat.

A very tidy example of this ever popular small cruiser racer yacht. Proved to be very capable and fast boats with active racing fleets still sailing. Well maintained with major work done in 2013. Yanmar 1GM diesel engine. Unusually she has 2 good pipecot berths in the forepeak so she can sleep 4 in comfort. Good sails including recent racing sails. A nice honest boat for sensible money.

Another of Kim Holmans superb designs, the Twister has an excellent reputation around the world, so popular was the design that they were built in great numbers using GRP when this material was first introduced. This is a nice example which has clearly been well loved in recent years by the previous owner. 5 berths in total. 2018 standing rigging. 2022 survey available. Reduced to a very attractive price as the owner has found his next boat and simply want to move her on.

Kim Holman Stella class built by Tucker Brown in 1971. Thought to be a modified Stella with slightly thicker planking, masthead rig, self draining cockpit and possibly a slightly heavier Ballast keel, all specified by the commissioning owner to make her a more robust cruising boat rather than a boat to race with the fleet. Very well maintained in long previous ownership with an extensive maintenance list over the years. In need of small repairs to the bow after a collision on her mooring.

Launched as a 5 ton Hillyard in 1937. Altered by a well known West country boat builder and traditional ship owner in his retirement with a Colin Archer style stern, larger coachroof and 2 mast standing lug rig. The result is a striking and very interesting little boat with good headroom and a traditional but easily handled rig. This is an unusual and interesting boat.
