Mevagissey Tosher built by Gaffers and Luggers of Falmouth in 2014. This yard is known for the range of Heard boats, traditionally designed vessels built in GRP. This is the standard Heard 20' Mevagissey Tosher hull but fitted with a very elegant and eye catching 2 mast lug rig. She can set a power of sail when required, but can be easily reefed down making her easy to handle. Her owner regularly sails alone and has found the boat to be fast, manageable and extremely fun to sail. Large open cockpit with high coamings giving her a sense of security. Yanmar YM15 engine. Laurent Giles Vertue No.54, built by the present owners father over a 9 year period and launched in 1959. Bought back into the family in 2000 and she has been lovingly maintained ever since. Much work done around 2012. 2 berths with 6' headroom. Beta 10hp diesel engine. Her unusual feature is the wheel steering making her possibly the only Vertue with a wheel. Brand new mast fitted spring 2025 with new sail track, wiring and fittings.

Kim Holman Twister class yacht built by Cardnell Bros. of Brightlingsea. One of the best examples of a Twister, built to a very high standard and well maintained. 5 berths with all original joinery. Beta 20hp diesel. A superb, fast and capable boat, previous class winner of Round the Island Race.

A superb example of the well respected Z4 class. She went through a comprehensive refit in 2023, and since then the present owner has had further work carried out. Presented in very smart ready to go condition. Refurbished Yanmar 1Gm10 engine. 2 berths and Taylors paraffin stove. Recent work has included replacing a keel bolts, all new strap floor bolts, new engine beds, rudder pintles and a complete cosmetic refit inside and out. One of the nicest examples of the class afloat.

The second Vertue ever built, Sally II was launched in 1937 by Elkins who went on to become a prolific builder of Vertue yachts. Planked in pitch pine with bronze strap floors, lead keel and bronze keel bolts, all first class materials. Shipwright owned for 30 years she has a good 2019 survey and has been a reliable and safe cruising boat on the Scottish west coast for her owner. The Vertue is an iconic design from the 20th century, perhaps the most successful small cruising boat ever and this is one of the special and sought after early examples of which only 8 were built.

The first example of the Tosher 20 built by Terry and Martin Heard of Gaffers and Luggers in Cornwall, they went on to build many of this class which proved a popular and versatile boat for many owners. A coachroof was added at a later date giving a small 2 berth cabin but still keeping a large, deep and safe cockpit, ideal for racing or family sailing. 2017 mast and rigging. Yachting Word Seahorse, designed by Van de Stadt and built by the first owner. Refitted in recent years, she has an adaptable rig that can be set as either gaff or bermudan. A very fine example of the stunning Swedish Tumlare sloop which has had some major professional work in recent years, including new bottom planking, new keel bolts and stern post, new rigging and new sails. The Tumlare is a very elegant and eye catching day boat with a small cabin giving 2 berths and sitting headroom. Their sailing qualities are rather legendary, great fun for racing around the cans or a gentle evening summer sail. Complete with road trailer ready to be towed away.

A very tidy example of the ever popular Sterling class, she has had a lot of professional work done in the last 3 years making her a tidy and sound example. A tough and capable cruising boat designed by Paul Gartside and built in 2003 to a very high standard. Laurent Giles Vertue built in 1951 for the Festival of Britain and exhibited there as an example of British craftsmanship. Only 3 owners since new and has always been well maintained. Honduras mahogany hull on oak, short doghouse with large cockpit and 2 berth accommodation. Yanmar 10hp diesel. A very smart example in sound condition with a long list of refit work carried out professionally in the last 4 years.
