A totally unique ship in as new condition built to a very high standard using top quality materials. Built by one man over 15 years, sadly he is now too old to use her as he had planned. Danish gaff ketch

Built in 1918 as a Baltic Sea fishing vessel, the boat was bought by the present owners and professionally converted to yacht in 1995. They gave her a graceful gaff ketch rig with a healthy 120sqm of sail which pushes her along well. 9 berths in a separate aft cabin, saloon and forward cabin with full headroom throughout. 155hp Volvo Penta diesel. At 49' she is a manageable yacht, easily sailed by two people. A very stable and safe ship at sea even in very rough weather, she is a beautiful example of the elegant Danish fishing boats.

The owner had big aspirations for his yacht racing career and had a number of successes including beating 'Stormy Weather' in the 1948 Miami Nassau race. Built by Coopers of Pill in 1887, she is the only remaining Pilot Cutter from this yard. Totally rebuilt by RB Boatbuilding of Bristol, launched in 2016. The rebuild was very thorough with only a few small parts of the original boat left, the work has been done to a very high standard and the boat is in excellent condition. She is smaller than most pilot cutters making her much easier to handle so she can be sailed with only 2 people. 7 berths including a double in the saloon.
