Designed by Scot Daniel Fyfe, a relation to the first William fife of Fairlie and built on the Clyde in 1895 for Noel Guinness of the brewing family. Her lines are based on those of the Loch Fyne Skiff, a capable, seaworthy and very attractive Scottish vessel. Rebuilt by the current shipwright owner over a 27 year period, launched in 2022. Complete new hull, decks and interior finished to a very high standard. A superb blend of history, pedigree and modern practicality make this a rather magnificent yacht.

Buchanan Prior 37 launched in 1964 and built to Lloyds 100A1 classification. Built for a syndicate of 3 owners who campaigned her regularly in offshore races until she was sold to the present owner in 2002. Then started a 3 year major bottom up rebuild of the boat which required the whole interior to be removed, planking and frames replaced, new bronze strap floors, all new interior and systems. Since then she has been cruised extensively and continually upgraded with a new engine in 2022, new rigging and sails in 2017 and numerous other works. This is probably the most complete and turn key yacht of her type we have ever had the pleasure of offering for sale, a real gem from a dedicated and experienced owner. One of the most famous of the McGruer 8 meter Cruiser Racers, one of 15 built by Mcgruers. This was a strong and competitive fleet on the Clyde through until 1975, providing exciting racing in elegant yachts that also offered comfortable accommodation for crew between regattas. Well maintained by her current owner, she is a very original yacht with many original features and fittings. Impeccably presented both inside and out, this is a yacht full of pedigree and class.

A very popular and respected design from the office of John G. Alden & co. Inc. built by the Wing on Shing Shipyard, Hong Kong in 1961. Major professional rebuild in 2001, lightly used and wintered inside every year since that refit. Work included new keel bolts and checking all fastenings, complete new interior, all new rig including mast and sails, new systems and wiring. New Beta Marine engine in 2020. Kept up to a high standard and used for classic racing and local cruising, this is a superb example of the class that provides a lot of volume for the length and is truly ready to go sailing.

A terrific blend of naval architecture from Sparkman and Stephens, coupled with the fine yacht-building skills of the McGruer yard produced this very special and quite unique yacht to the 8-meter Cruiser Racer rule. Designed by Irishman G. O'Brian Kennedy, the hull was built by Harold Kimber in 1964. The build then stopped and she was eventually completed and commissioned by Tideway Marine of Salcombe in 1980. Major rebuild in 2015 with a complete new deck structure, keel off, engine overhauled, new rigging, sails, systems and more. Since then she has taken part in classic regatta events and been cruised, much of it single handed, around the Med, out to the Azores and around the UK and Channel coasts. A striking looking yacht with a detailed recent refit history, very strongly built and capable of long distance ocean sailing. Her ketch rig makes her easily handled by one or two people, the perfect boat for an adventuring couple perhaps.

Designed and built by David Cheverton in 1958, she was awarded Yacht of the Year in 1959 after a superb racing season during which she largely wiped the floor in the UK yacht racing scene. The Danegeld class was launched off the back of her success. The boat is still raced regularly in the classic regattas and has been well maintained and updated over the years. Buchanan Vashti Mk3, also known as the Queen Class 38, was the GRP version of Buchanans famous Vashti design, a yacht that proved her mettle as a fast and capable cruiser racer in the 1960's. Her robust GRP hull was moulded by Tylers and then fitted out by Priors who were used to building wooden boats, so her interior has a distinctly classic feel, something that often lacks on GRP yachts. Well maintained and continually upgraded with a complete new rig in 2022, race spec sails and a full inventory. A true classic in her own right, she qualifies for the classic regattas and makes for a very competent cruiser racer yacht with exquisite lines.

Ferro cement gaff schooner professionally built by 'Mick the Brick' of Gweek, Cornwall in 1989. Not rigged and sailed until 2000. Since then she has circumnavigated the globe with a family crew, and more recently between 2020-2022 went on an Atlantic circuit voyage. Well proven as a comfortable live aboard cruising yacht, very capable, sea worthy and safe. Very elegant hull lines clearly inspired by the larger pilot cutters and with the same excellent sailing qualities. 8 berths in a spacious interior. Selina King was designed by Fred Shepherd and built by Harry King & Sons in 1938 for the author Arthur Ransome, the biggest yacht he had built. After passing through several owners and crossing the Atlantic, she was bought by the current owner while lying neglected in Bermuda and a major refurbishment commenced, ending with her being launched in 2023 at the same yard in which she was built in Suffolk. A largely rebuilt boat with lots of new equipment and hardware. Rich with history, this elegant yacht is rather special and will bring much joy to her next custodian.

Lovely example of the West Solent One Design, totally rebuilt by Jamie Clay and Fabian Bush between 1990-2001. Raced extensively on the east coast by the previous owner with a very good record. Further professional refit 2025 has put her in excellent fettle. A very simple boat with no engine, basic electrics and largely original rig but she is in excellent structural condition and could be a very successful boat on the classic yacht regatta circuit. Designed by Sparkman & Stephens, built by Paul Molich in Denmark in 1966 for the reigning One Ton Cup champion, Claus Turitz. She competed in the One Ton Cup championship of 1968. A nicely maintained yacht with a new composite teak deck in 2017 and new Volvo Penta engine in 2025. Completed a 3000Nm voyage from Stavanger to the North Cape and back in 2024. 5 single berths with good headroom. A fast easily handled yacht with excellent pedigree.
