15' Ian Oughtred Acorn rowing skiff, built by a very skilled amateur in 1998 and used very little since then. Complete with 2 pairs of oars, cover and road trailer, she is a complete package ready to be towed away and used this summer. Built from Robins Elite marine plywood glued with epoxy, all varnished mahogany fit out including stem and keel, gunnels, thwarts and transom. A nice example in lovely condition, a superb way to get afloat this summer.

Used as the 2 man Olympic dinghy from 1960 to 1992, there is still a healthy racing fleet of boats in the UK. Believed to be a Solway Class sailing dinghy built around 1900 on Lake Windermere. Almost entirely built of spruce including planking, thwarts and transom making her light and nimble. In the same family ownership for many years, her well documented history details many wins in the dinghy racing events on the lake. Structurally appears to be in quite good condition but needs to be totally stripped to bare wood. Gunter rig complete but sails and rigging will need replacing.
