Wooden Ships Comments on this 15′ Orkney skiff

Orkney skiff, believed to have been built in 1908 to teach a young local girl to sail.  Bought by the present owner in 1983, she had a refit in the early 1990’s with new frames and planking as necessary.

Complete boat with outboard, oars, rig and road trailer, all in good smart condition with a recent paint job.

She is a very stable boat for her size, easily sailed and a delight to row.  A frequent competitor in Falmouth Classics regatta, she will turn heads and be a delight to own and use for her new owner.

Length                  15′
