The history of this pretty launch is unknown, but she is thought to have been built in the 1950’s. The boat has spent most of her life on the Isle of Bute and was laid up many years ago in a shed and not used.
Bought by the present yachting professional owner around 10 years ago, she was refitted during covid times and because he is not getting the use out of her she is being offered for sale.
The refit included a new transom, aft deck and foredeck, a complete re-varnish inside and out, new Beta engine, new cover and new trailer. The engine has hardly been run and the trailer has only delivery miles on it.
An attractive looking boat in good sound condition and a lovely size of launch.

Construction
- Clinker planked in Scottish larch all copper fastened to steam bent oak timbers.
- Varnished mahogany sheer strake.
- Oak stem and centreline structure. Steel full length keel band.
- New fore and aft decks planked in mahogany and varnished.
- New solid mahogany transom.
- Thwarts of varnished mahogany with painted sole boards.
Machinery
- Beta Marine 14hp twin cylinder diesel new in 2020. Les than 5 hours running time.
- Housed in original engine box which is varnished mahogany to a skylight type design.
- Twin lever controls to a fixed 3 blade bronze propeller.
- New stainless fuel tank and associated pipe work and filter.
- Single 12 volt battery charged form the engine alternator. New in 2020.
- Auto electric and bronze manual bilge pumps.
