Clinker motor launch built by Hinks of Appledore in 1990. She has worked as a passenger ferry most of her life but is now in need of a refit.
The majority of the hull appears sound and she has a good engine. The boat was afloat and in use until July this year.
She is a very substantial boat, wide in the beam making her very stable. She would make an ideal passenger ferry or work boat, but with some refinement would be a lovely family launch.
Currently on a road trailer, not included in the sale, but can be used to transport her wherever she needs to be

Construction
Clinker planked in larch, copper fastened to steamed oak timbers. A couple of small areas of soft in the planking that will need repairing.
Oak stem, keel and deadwoods.
Heavy oak floors across the centreline in way of the engine spread the load evenly.
Plywood fore and aft decks in poor condition
Plywood engine box and sole boards.
Iron keel bond in poor condition
Wooden transom hung rudder with steel hangings. The metal work is in poor condition.
Mast fixes against forward bulkhead to carry navigation lights.
Machinery
Yanmar 2GM20 2cyl 16hp marine diesel.
PRM hydraulic gearbox to a 3 blade bronze propeller.
Stainless steel fuel tank under the aft deck
Single 12 volt battery charged from engine alternator.
