Wooden Ships Comments on this 21′ Cove’s launch

Built by Coves of Salcombe in 1959 to their traditional design.  She is very obviously a Coves boat with the straight stem, sweeping sheer and plumb transom with a nice turn of tumble home.

For many years she was a hire boat on the estuary but was sold into the present private ownership and used for fishing and river trips.  This size of boat makes her very stable with plenty of space for all the family and with a good size engine she will cruise at a decent speed.

An exceptionally pretty launch, there are few left of this style and size.
