Wooden Ships Comments

Clinker rowing dinghy built by the Burnham Motor Company, probably as a tender to one of their larger yachts.

A pretty little boat and although only 8’ in length she has a good beam making her stable and a good load carrier.

Construction

Clinker planked in mahogany, all copper rivet fastened to steam bent oak timbers.

Garboards are of pine.

Oak stem and keel with a mahogany transom

Oak gunwhales with 2 rowing positions

Mahogany thwarts and hanging knees

New sole boards to original pattern
