Wooden Ships Comments

A nice example of Ian Oughtreds Acorn 15′ rowing skiff, an elegant and easily rowed skiff built using a strong yet lightweight epoxy plywood method of construction.

The 15′ version has a lot more capacity than the standard 12′, able to be rowed by 2 people with a passenger and space for gear, including dry storage in the water tight compartments fore and aft.  She is also easily rowed by just 1 person if desired.

The road trailer and piggy back launching trolley make it very easy to launch and retrieve the boat.  The trailer is in good order and has recently completed a journey from Scotland to the south coast.
