Wooden Ships Comments on this Clinker plywood rowing dinghy
Built in Portscatho, Cornwall approximately 50 years ago and spent most of her life in Cornwall.
Refurbished by Fowey boat builder Marcus Lewis in 2015 and varnish regularly.
A very pretty rowing dinghy which moves nicely through the water.
She has a generous beam giving good stability and volume making her ideal for a family or as a stout and sturdy tender. the Plywood construction makes her relatively light but still stiff and strong.
Attractive boat on a good road trailer with oars and rowlocks.

Clinker planked in edge glued marine plywood
Steam bent oak timbers fastened with copper rivets.
Solid oak stem and transom
Grown oak breasthook and quarter lodging knees.
Varnished pine thwarts supported by hanging knees
Hardwood gunnel and rubbing strake with 2 rowing positions.
Heavy rope fender all round
