A brand new Fairey Duckling, sold to the late owner by Fairey Marine Ltd as a completed hull with the idea to fit her out for sailing. This never happened the boat has spent it’s entire life in the roof of the garage.
She appears to be in excellent as new condition. The hull is complete with thwarts and dagger board casing, but there is no rig, dagger board or rudder.
Complete with all the original plans, instructions and paper work from Fairey Marine Ltd.
A very special little boat as there cannot be another Duckling in this condition unless one was built new at huge expense.
Construction
Cold moulded hull glued with resorcinol in the usual Fairey way.
Mahogany thwarts, gunwhales and knees.
