Fairlie Yacht Slip Motor Launch

Wooden Ships Comments on this Fairlie Yacht Slip Motor Launch

Built in 1960 at the Fairlie Yacht Slip, one of two tenders commission by Dr Innes Lumsden for his converted ex. Admiralty trawler.

Bought by the current family in 1978, she has remained with them on the west coast of Scotland ever since.

An elegant boat, unusual for a launch of this size with forward mounted wheel steering and a small windscreen.

The aft seating area is sheltered by a large sprayhood on a folding metal frame which successfully protects the passengers in the back from spray, wind and rain.

Complete with oars and road trailer that has new wheel bearings and hubs, plus straps and lightboard.
