Wooden Ships Comments on this Ian Oughtred ‘Ness’ boat
Another of Ian Oughtreds pretty small boat designs built by the owner between 1997 and 2001. Used lightly until 2006 on the Cumbrian Lakes and then around the West Country coast since then. She has had very little use since her first launch, has always been stored undercover and is generally in excellent condition.
She comes complete with a combination road trailer which includes a launching trolley making the launch and retrieval process a one man task. Easy to sail, very pretty to look at and a joy to own.
