Windchime sailing dinghy designed by Jon Owles of Summer Boat Design.  This is the only boat built to this design and she was exhibited at the 2022 Boat Life Live show alongside the celebrated Windsong racing dinghy.

The boat was professionally built by the owner at Summer Boat Design and has been used on the east coast for coastal and river cruising.

A spacious and capable dinghy with good load carrying capacity and stability perfect for family adventures or dinghy cruising.

Her adaptable rig can be set up as a sloop rigged lugger with a short bowsprit, or by moving the mast forward to its forward position she can be cat rigged with no headsail.  This is ideal in heavier winds or when short handed.  The mainsail also has 2 reefing points so she can be set up for safe sailing in very strong winds if needed.

The mainsail is high peaked in the modern fashion to increase windward performance.  The hull will plane on a reach with the centreboard raised showing she is no slow tub.  She can also be rowed by or two people and the sweeps stow neatly on the sole boards.
