18’ motor launch built by the first owner under supervision from Mike Atfield of Salcombe. First launched in 2019. The boat was built to the lines of Atfields standard 18’ river launch using his moulds.
A traditional design of launch with a straight stem and transom stern, attractive sheer line and good freeboard. Built using modern wood epoxy construction methods, she is a low maintenance and rigid boat capable of river and coastal use.
Fitted with 20hp Yanmar engine,, she comes with an all over cover and road trailer, a complete turn key package ready to go to sea.

Construction
Strip plank hull in epoxy glued 20mm Canadian white cedar. Sheathed inside and out in epoxy glass cloth. Topsides finished in sprayed 2 pack epoxy paint.
Laminated iroko stem and keel with a mahogany transom.
Rope fender all round with double varnished mahogany rubbing strakes.
Fore and aft decks in laid cedar planking with dark mahogany inlay between and epoxy glass sheathed. Pop up stainless steel cleats.
Sawn iroko floors across the centreline epoxy bonded and glassed into the hull.
Internal lead trimming ballast fore and aft.
Varnished mahogany seating with a midships thwart and bench seats fore and aft.
Insulated engine box made from solid cedar planking.
Machinery
Yanmar 3YM20 3cyl fresh water cooled diesel engine new in 2019.
Centreline 3 blade bronze propeller.
33 litre plastic fuel tank in the bows with a deck filler cap and fuel level guage.
80ah 12 volt battery charged from the engine alternator.
