Wooden Ships Comments
Built by Clifford Adams, now retired Looe boat builder, to work as a commercial vessel out of Looe. She was built for the current owner who worked her for many years with enormous success.
Her design is very interesting and is typical of many Cornish boats. She is very full in the bows giving her a lot of buoyancy u forward meaning she does not bury her nose in a sea. There is a sharp turn to the bilge with relatively flat underwater sections meaning she has shallow draft but is also very stable.
She had a commercial licence through MECAL, this licence lapsed in 2019 and could be re-instated if desired by a new owner.
The engine is in exceptional condition, the owner fitted a new engine every 3 years to ensure reliability and this engine has not done huge hours. She comes with a superb twin axle road trailer which is ready to tow away.
This is a very attractive and nicely built vessel capable of carrying large groups of people in comfort. Suitable for estuary cruising or exploring the local coastline in style.
