Clinker motor launch built on the lines of a Beer Lugger, one of the traditional beach fishing boats from the village of Beer in east Devon.
Believed to have been built around 2004, she was never quite finished and was not launched until 2015 when the current owner bought the boat and completed the necessary works.
Used locally on the River Dart for the last 10 years, she has been stored undercover each winter. Complete with a custom overall cover and a good quality Extreme road trailer.
Due to her design inspiration the boat has a very wide beam making her particularly spacious and stable for a launch of her length. The high freeboard, designed to make them boat seaworthy and safe when launching off the beach into the surf, means she is very capable of river and coastal exploration.

Clinker planked in mahogany. Copper rivet fastened to steam bent oak timbers.
Laminated mahogany stem and keel with a solid mahogany transom.
Laid mahogany fore and aft decks glued over a marine plywood subdeck.
Mahogany thwarts with sawm oak supporting knees.
Scrubbed hard wood sole boards.
Marine plywood engine box with sound insulation inside.
Transom hung mahogany rudder.

Twin cylinder Nanni 14hp diesel engine.
Technodrive TMC 40P gearbox to a 3 blade bronze propeller.
12 volt 86ah battery charged from the engine alternator.
25 litre Vetus plastic fuel tank under the foredeck.
Fuel filter with water separator.
