Designed by John Bain and built by Silvers of Rosneath in 1946. She retains many of the features of the pre-war designs and is typical of the quality from Silvers who produced many of the finest motor yachts of the period.
Unusually she is planked entirely of teak using left over timber from the war effort making her a rather special yacht. Major refit around 1997. Thorough refit in present ownership including full cosmetics, new wiring and plumbing and new engines all in the last few years. A very smart and attractive motor yacht and a very manageable size.

Construction
Planked in 1″ teak all copper fastened to heavy sawn oak frames with 3 steamed intermediate oak timbers.
1.8 ton external lead ballast keel with bronze bolts. Last drawn 2005.
Straight laid solid teak deck with varnished teak cover boards and toe rail.
Wide and spacious foredeck with a step down to the side decks.
Solid varnished teak wheelhouse and aft coachroof with sheathed T&G pine roof.
Machinery
Twin Beta Marine 35hp 4cyl diesels installed new in 2012.
PRM gearboxes with counter rotating 3 blade bronze propellers.
7/8 knots cruising speed at 3 litres/hr in total. 9.5 knots max.
2 x 325 litre stainless fuels tanks
2 x 12v 110ah batteries charged from the engine alternators. Shore power circuit installed with 240v ring main.
All wiring and plumbing replaced new in 2013.
Rig
A small mast forward of midships to carry flag halyards and the like.
Varnished deck stepped mast with new stainless steel standing rigging in 2013
Accommodation
6 berths in total. Some very nice original joinery with a typical Silvers layout.
Saloon forward of wheelhouse with pullman type settee berths offering4 single berths.
Centreline dropleaf tablein the saloon. 6’1″ headroom.
Heads compartment in the bow with Baby Blake sea toilet.
Galley and chart table at aft end of saloon. 2 burner gas oven, sink and fridge.
Hot and cold pressurised water
Aft cabin with a heads compartment and two single berths.
