Full specification

32’ Bermudan sloop designed by Maurice Griffiths as his own yacht.  Built by Seacraft and Co. Ltd in 1956.

This yacht has a beautifully detailed history including photo negatives from the build, Bills of Sale and registration papers going back many years and original letters from Maurice Griffiths to subsequent owners.

Bought by the current owner in 1998, she had been neglected and was in a poor state needing a major refit.  With the help of Tim Gilmore in Emsworth the keel bolts were replaced, the interior taken out and the hull cleaned back to bare wood inside and out.  She was re-fastened where necessary, re-caulked and a complete new deck and cockpit fitted.  All systems were renewed and the interior rebuilt to suit the new owners needs.

This work was completed around 2003 and she has been lived aboard ever since, sailing around the Solent area in the early days but has not been out to sea now for a number of years.  She is well protected under her excellent all over cover and is maintained annually to keep the boat in good general condition.

Full documentation of the rebuild is available and all original documents pertaining to her history will stay with the yacht.
