An interesting concept for the design, she offers a lot of comfortable space for her length with a large cockpit, comfortable interior with good headroom and comfortable berths. The rig is small for her size so she relies on the engine in light airs but it is easily managed. Her shallow draft of only 3' allows access to inland areas off limits to deeper boats. Very smart condition with a large inventory of equipment, the ideal boat for many owners. Full survey done in February 2021. Thorough cosmetic refit being done this coming winter.

Designed by J Pain Clark and built by Harry King and sons in 1911. With only 5 owners over the years, she has mostly been based on the east coast of the UK and used for local cruising and racing. She took part in the Fastnet Race in the 1950's for which a self draining cockpit was fitted. Originally fitted with a gaff sloop rig, she was converted to a bernudan sloop in 1924 and then changed again to a gaff cutter in 2010 by the current owner. In the present ownership she had a major refit between 2010 and 2013 with a new teak deck, complete new rig, refastened hull and many new frames. This is a very elegant yacht retaining many original features including her stunning cockpit, hatch and skylight arrangement. A competitive boat for classic regatta racing.
