Built in Holland for the retiring captain of the Dutch Royal Yacht, she was a no expense spared build funded by the Dutch royal family. It is said that Queen Wilhelmina and Queen Beatrix both learnt to sail in this yacht. She is a stretched example of the Englyn design, slightly bigger in all dimensions. Sparkman and Stephens design No.153, built in 1949 in Hong Kong. All teak hull and totally original teak interior joinery. She has been in the current family ownership since 1967 and is now in need for a restoration. This is a fine looking yacht with much of her original joinery, fixtures and fittings surely well worth the time and cost to get her back afloat.
