Fred Shepherd designed yacht, launched in 1903 as a gaff yawl. Major professional refit completed in 2004 included hull repairs, new deck and new interior. Lightly used for coastal cruising in last 20 years. A very elegant yacht with lines typical of her era.

The first of the celebrated Laurent Giles Brittany Class, she was built in 1939 and was follwed by several other yachts to the same design. Known for their beautiful lines and superb sailing characteristics, it is very rare to see one of these boats come on the market. Designed and built by McGruers in 1929, originally called Rowan II she was built for a Dr Carlslaw who was well known for his cruising books, 'Leaves from Rowans Log'. An elegant yacht with a large cockpit and nice counter stern. Sadly an executor sale, the late owner was in the middle of a major refit which was halted. Full details of the exact work done in 2020 are available making it possible to accurately establish the current condition of the boat and what jobs are left for the new owner to take on. Designed by a colleague of Colin Archer and built in Gothenburg in 1893 as one of 5 pilot cutters built for the Gothenburg Archipelago. This is an original Swedish Pilot Cutter with typical design features we all think of as strictly Colin Archer; the canoe stern, very generous beam, heavy displacement and incredible sea keeping characteristics. Rebuilt in 1990 with all new planking and decks. Her rig is identical to the original design plans. Ford 120hp diesel. Comfortable interior with 6 berths and good headroom.

Built in Holland for the retiring captain of the Dutch Royal Yacht, she was a no expense spared build funded by the royal family. It is said that Queen Wilhelmina and Queen Beatrix both learnt to sail in this yacht. She is a stretched example of the Englyn design, slightly bigger in all dimensions. Continually upgraded and well maintained, this is a fine yacht planked in top quality teak with a stunning and comfortable interior. Well equipped and in commission, a very special pedigree yacht.

With lines by Percy Dalton based on a traditional Falmouth working boat, the hull was built by Cygnus Marine to Whitefish Standards. The design became known as the Cygnus Gaffer 29. Teak decks and coachroof give her the feel of a traditional boat. Thorough refit in last 3 years with new engine, rigging and deck overhaul. One of the finest Miller Fifers afloat, maintained to a professional standard in recent 30 year ownership. 2023 upgrades including new rigging and nav gear. Millers were built to the lines of Scottish fishing boats with similar scantlings making them extremely strong, tough and capable yachts. New Holland 85hp diesel, giving 7 knots cruising speed. Elegant Buchanan sloop yacht built to Lloyds 100A1 and kept in class until 1983. Recent refit with a replacement engine in 2020 and and new mast and sails in 2022. Designed and built to the 6 meter rule in 1905, she is a very early example of the class and has been in present family ownership for 50 years. Recent professional refit including new mast. Planked in Pitch Pine on oak frames, all bronze screw fastened. Gaff cutter rig on Noble Spars mast. 4 berths in smart interior. A stunning looking yacht with superb performance in the right conditions, currently in good sound and smart condition.

Designed by and built for Harrison Butler himself, this is a real pedigree classic yacht with plenty of history and the looks to match. With an elegant counter stern and sweet sheer line, this is a very fine looking yacht indeed and has the prestige of being built for HB himself with many of his voyages detailed in the pages of Yachting Monthly magazine at the time. With a major period of refit work carried in 2002 and a complete new teak deck in 2016, along with many other smaller upgrades and improvements, this is a yacht in fine fettle and ready for her next custodian.

Sparkman and Stephens design No.153, built in 1949 in Hong Kong. All teak hull and totally original teak interior joinery. She has been in the current family ownership since 1967 and is now in need for a restoration. This is a fine looking yacht with much of her original joinery, fixtures and fittings surely well worth the time and cost to get her back afloat.

A very tidy example of the Saxon class, designed by Buchanan and built by Priors in 1962 to Lloyds 100A1 classification. Mahogany on CRE frames with a sheathed plywood deck. Well maintained by some careful owners with a well documented history. 5 berths with good headroom, Perkins 30hp diesel, good sails and rig. A nicely designed and some would say perfect size family boat, easily handled and a joy to sail.
