Built by the Canadian Lakefield Canoe Company, probably in the 1920’s.
Complete with 2 paddles.
A very original and stunning canoe.
Length 12’6”
Beam 2’10”
Construction
Tight seam planking, possibly spruce or cedar.
Clenched nail fastened to light and closely spaced steamed timbers.
Bilge rail runners fastened externally to the hull.
Rubbing strake all round to stiffen the hull.
White oak breast knees either end.
