Wooden Ships Comments on this Andrew Woolstenholme Swallow

Andrew Woolstenholme ‘Swallow’ design gaff sloop built by the owner to a very high standard.  Only launched for sea trials and presented as a virtually new boat.  The build was started in 2012 and first sailed in 2016.

Built with top quality timber and materials, mostly from Robbins timbers, and bronze fittings from Daveys.  Her strip plank construction makes her a relatively low maintenance boat while still be strong and practical.  Because of her glued and sheathed hull she will not dry out when stored ashore and therefore will not leak or need to take up upon launch.

An ideal day sailing boat with an attractive gaff sloop rig, easy to launch and recover with just one person but with space for the whole family.
