Selina King was designed by Fred Shepherd and built by Harry King & Sons in 1938 for the author Arthur Ransome, the biggest yacht he had built. After passing through several owners and crossing the Atlantic, she was bought by the current owner while lying neglected in Bermuda and a major refurbishment commenced, ending with her being launched in 2023 at the same yard in which she was built in Suffolk. A largely rebuilt boat with lots of new equipment and hardware. Rich with history, this elegant yacht is rather special and will bring much joy to her next custodian.

Camper & Nicholson were very sharp during the transition from wood to GRP and could see what the future was bringing. This Nicholson 36 was one of their early forays into GRP construction, designed by Charles Nicholson and actually built for Peter Nicholson. Because of their inexperience with the new material, they had the hull moulded by Halmatic who were the UK experts at the time. The design is typical of the C&N yachts of the time with elegant lines, and was finished with a painted wooden deck and varnished mahogany cockpit and superstructure so she looks like a true classic yacht. 7 berths with 1.84m headroom. Designed and built by McGruers in 1929, originally called Rowan II she was built for a Dr Carlslaw who was well known for his cruising books, 'Leaves from Rowans Log'. An elegant yacht with a large cockpit and nice counter stern. Sadly an executor sale, the late owner was in the middle of a major refit which was halted. Full details of the exact work done in 2020 are available making it possible to accurately establish the current condition of the boat and what jobs are left for the new owner to take on. The first of the celebrated Laurent Giles Brittany Class, she was built in 1939 and was follwed by several other yachts to the same design. Known for their beautiful lines and superb sailing characteristics, it is very rare to see one of these boats come on the market. Miss Silver motor sailer built by Silvers Ltd in 1963. 33' bermudan cutter cruising yacht designed by American Winthrop Warner and built in Marblehead in 1954. Major rebuild in 1998 included a complete new deck and coachroof. Used regularly over the last 6 years by the present owner who has cruised around the Mediterranean, now brought back to the UK to find a new owner. Bristol Channel Pilot Cutter built at the same yard and in the same year as the larger Olga. One of the smallest in the Pilot cutter fleet which makes her no less seaworthy but means she is easier to handle and sail with a small crew. Built in Holland for the retiring captain of the Dutch Royal Yacht, she was a no expense spared build funded by the Dutch royal family. It is said that Queen Wilhelmina and Queen Beatrix both learnt to sail in this yacht. She is a stretched example of the Englyn design, slightly bigger in all dimensions. Sparkman and Stephens design No.153, built in 1949 in Hong Kong. All teak hull and totally original teak interior joinery. She has been in the current family ownership since 1967 and is now in need for a restoration. This is a fine looking yacht with much of her original joinery, fixtures and fittings surely well worth the time and cost to get her back afloat.
