The 25' Laurent Giles designed Vertue is recognised as the most famous of all small yacht designs and V35 is one of the best known Vertues. This is the very boat that Humphrey Barton sailed across the Atlantic in 1950, now returned from the US, refitted and owned in Italy since 1997 and regularly sailed from Venice, now offered for sale by Wooden Ships

A superb Westcountry fishing lugger built in 2004 on the lines of a traditional and well known pilchard driver that fished out of Mousehole, Cornwall. Larch planking on steamed oak timbers. Iroko deck. Diesel electric propulsion system. 2 masted lug rig with carbon fibre yards. Constructed using the popular Kiwi technique of triple skin Kauri pine with two diagonal layers and a horizontally planked outer layer to give and incredibly string and robust hull.
